You'll never guess where I went today?!?!!?

............ Sadly nowhere special haha, just Boots and Superdrug AGAIN. One of them shops needs to offer me residence as I spend so much fricken time there!

I had an excuse today though.. I'd ran out of my usual cleanser so I needed a new one. I've been using No.7 cleanser and toner for a while now, as mentioned in my skincare routine post a while back. I do really like them both but I get bored easily and always wonder if something else out there is better. So off I headed to the drugstores.

I've been hearing a lot lately about Superdrugs own Vitamin E range, read a few good reviews etc so thought I'd give the cleanser a try. I also picked up the eye make up remover pads too.

I've also had no Serum for a while now.. and my routine just hasn't been feeling complete without putting some serum on before my moisturiser. Ive used No.7 Protect and Perfect for years and never been tempted to try anything else, but after using a few Soap & Glory products especially the eye cream which Im really liking, I thought I'd give the Make Yourself Youthful Super Rejuvenating Face Serum a try. Not only is this cheaper than my usual No.7 serum, Soap and Glory was started by Bliss spa's founder Marcia Kilgore - you know you're getting something that is good quality.

Also while at Boots, I wanted to take a look at some more of their Natural Collection Products. I was so impressed with the last Lipstick that I bought from there, that I wanted to try another and I also wanted to try a a few Blushes. So I picked up a Lipstick in Rose Petal and 2 blushes in Pink Cloud and Rosy Glow

Have you ladies tried any of the products I bought? If so what did you think?

  1. I've used those makeup pads in the past and they're not really that good. I had to use about 5 just to get some simple mascara off. The best ones ever are the ones from Boots own brand.

I've been very well behaved today, went to Brent Cross and didn't buy a single thing, despite the Glam Crystals being free if you bought a mascara, might go back for them!

  6. if only it was that easy :P ha ha!! he doesnt mind so much clothes but make-up he really doesnt understand!! He seems to think 1 eyeshadow, 1 mascara, 1 eyeliner, 1 blush, 1 foundation is enough doesnt understand the bits that are in between!
He should appreciate me trying to beautify myself ha ha!
But as i always say to him, i work 9 hours a day wiping the snotty noses and cleaning the pooey bums of other peoples kids so i can spend my money how i want :D haha
