A handy blogger tip.

We all know Blogger has no comment notification system, so the only way to find out if we have a new comment is to keep checking our posts.


When I first started blogging with blogger, I was making a few posts a day and found it to be a right pain having to keep checking each post to see if I'd been left any comments. I had to do it though because I didn't want anybody commenting and me not seeing it and not reply, therefore coming across ignorant. Plus I found people would often comment on older posts that I didn't even think of checking. So I decided to put my comments on comment moderation. This way I never ever miss anybodys comment. When I go to my dashboard there is a message with tells me how many new comments I have, I click on it, read my new comment, then publish them. I then go to the relevant post and reply.
 
So if you're like me and hate having to check every post Ive done a tiny guide to show you how to turn comment moderation on.
 
First off go to settings. Once in settings click on the comments tab, as shown below..
 
 

Then scroll down till you see comment moderation as circled below..

then click the always box and that's it. You'll never miss another comment again. Plus its nice logging into blogger and seeing a little message telling you how many new comments you have.

Hope this helped a few people, if not and you all already knew how to do this but chose not too, o'well... I had fun making my lil' guide haha.
