...... And this really is Pillar Box Red. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet, as I always think brighter reds like this one, look better on nails a little longer. However I always have a real womanly grown up feeling when I have red nails. I suppose I'll give it another go once my nails grow a bit.
Each pic is 2 coats and a top coat. No base coat today, I was feeling lazy.
How do you feel about bright Pillar Box Reds?

I think it looks lovely but I disagree with you. I like reds on long nails but its so full on whereas on shorter nails it more "fun" and I think it looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteI like this colour. it looks more coral though. seems like it would be nice for Summer. When i have red nails i like it to be quite a deep dark red. I can be all seductive then, hehe

I know what you mean about red polish making you feel grown up! I think with me, red nails make me feel more asertive- like power dressing! I know people will look at me- at my nails!

ReplyDeletei only wear the brightest reds on my nails and think they look better on shorter nails... i can't grow mine long since i work with ink and paint all day and use my hands a lot for drawing and sewing.bright red brings a pop in my mainly black-white-grey-blue-red wardrobe.
