I think I must be the only person to not own the famous Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. The reason behind this, is that I've always been happy with a much cheaper alternative which is Sally Hansen Teflon Tuff Quick Dry Top Coat. Which I normally buy from ebay for around £2.50 which includes postage.
It works the same way as Seche Vite, applied over wet nails it speeds up the drying time so nails are touch proof within minutes. Its also leaves my nails incredibly glossy and also keeps my nails from chipping.
However I'm starting to get intrigued about Seche Vite. I'm interested to see how it compares to Teflon Tuff, as obviously it hasn't become the most famous top coat for no reason. I have actually tried it once, it was a friends, however at the time I wasn't into my nails that much and just assumed it was an ordinary top coat, and didn't pay the slightest bit of attention to its benefits. So have any of you Ladies ever tried Teflon Tuff and been able to compare it to Seche Vite? Or maybe share your thought n why Seche Vite is so good.
I'm debating whether to get Seche Vite too...I used CND Super Shiney which is really good, I'm just greedy to try something else!
ReplyDeleteI've only tried the Seche Vite so can't compare but it works so well, you just out it on wet as you know and its touch dry almost immediately and rock hard in under five minutes - with three coats of polish. Admittedly I'd need to knock my nails to really test that out though, but so far so good!

ReplyDeleteIMHO Nubar Diamont is better than Seche Vite - you get more in the bottle for the same price and it is Big-3-free. I find I get less tipwear and shrinkage with the Nubar than I do with Seche Vite...
