If you're a regular reader you'll know I picked up 2 packets off these wipes a few weeks ago while in Boots. The retail at £6.50 but I used 2 £5 off No.7 vouchers and got them for £1.50 each. I'm a big fan of facial cleansing wipes and have done a few reviews on some other brands that I have bought and tried.
The packet consists of wipes and has a secure air tight flip lid, which I am a fan of when it comes to face wipes. I think all brands of face wipes should have them.
Boots say:
"Speedy Skincare with No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes, These gentle, fragrance-free wipes are especially created for your busiest days. No7's make-up wipes are enriched with Pro Vitamin B5 to moisturise and soften, plus natural extracts of Witch Hazel and Fennel to clear pores and leave your skin feeling smooth and fresh".
"Be good to your skin, even when you're short of time with No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes. Sweep away impurities, tone your skin, remove make-up including waterproof eye make-up and moisturise".
Jo says:
Well as already previously mentioned, Ive tried a fair few brands of cleansing wipes in my time, right from the cheapest and now these, which have to be the dearest ones I've tried. Now if I would have paid the full price of £6.50 for these wipes I would have been extremely disappointed. I can honestly say I think these wipes are nothing special at all, and are definitely not worth £6.50. I didn't find them to be as moist as the previous wipes I was using, which were L'oreal Age Perfect Smoothing Cleansing Wipes, I found that I would have to wipes over my eye area a bit more than I normally do, to remove my eye make up. I also noticed no difference in my skin after use, no extra softness etc. Basically they do the same job as a lot of other ones Ive tried in the past (except the L'oreal ones, they are my fave) that cost less than half the price.
When I first purchased these I did have really high hopes, as I am a huge fan of number 7 products, but these have let the side down. I think they are very overly priced for what they are.
Would I recommend and re-purchase?
No. Unless they go down in price drastically to say £2 a packet (which obviously wont happen) then its fair to say I wont purchase these wipes again. I'd much rather go and get 2 packets of the L'oreal wipes with the money I'd spend on these.

ReplyDeleteThe wettest wipes (As dodgy as that sounds) I've ever used are the Botanics ones. They're really good for taking stuff off your face and they leave you feeling moisturised too.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Tescos ones are good as well, you know how I love them.
And everyone is still getting the £5 off vouchers, I haven't had any in a long time, I just get the digicam ones.
Thanks for the review Jo. I've been lemming wipes for a while now because I'm getting sick of my uber-long cleansing routine. :)
ReplyDeletethe best wipes ive discovered are from Morrissons and are 47p a packet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx
ReplyDeleteI tried them as well and I sure as hell wouldn't pay £6.50 for them. They're alright but they work about as well as my baby wipes that I use for taking off makeup x
ReplyDeletegood to know about the Loreal ones.. I used to do wipes for my face but they were irritating my skin.. do you think the Loreal ones would work on a sensitive skin?
