A few weeks ago I asked around on Twitter for recommendation for a new powder highlighter. The lovely Ladies from A beauty Junkie in London and Me Love Make up both recommended the Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Sunbaked Mineral Bronzing Powder in 'Pure Shimmer'. I'd already been considering this as an option after seeing it on Boots website, so after being given 2 recommendations I decided to pick it up.
Its fairly similiar to MAC's MSF and comes in shades. I picked up the lightest shade as the others were more for use as a Bronzer than a highlighter. The color is a champagne/gold glow, which I would say is more suited for us paler Ladies. The texture is gorgeous, so silky smooth, with just the right amount of shimmer. Not at all sparkly or powdery or overly shiny like Ive found other highlighters to be. It gives off such a pearly sheen once applied and makes my skin glow. I use it on my cheekbones, my brow and sometimes down the bridge of my nose.
I purchased mine in Boots and it was around £8.99. I would definitely re-purchase, although I doubt I will have to for a while. This product really is excellent value for money. A much cheaper alternative to MAC's MSF.
Do you own this or any other Prestige products? What do you use to highlight?

I own this one and the medium one. I don't wear this one enough but you have reminded me how awesome it is.I also wore the bronzey ones alot during the summer and they looked so pretty & glowy. :) xx
ReplyDeleteI have this and I love it! I use it as a shimmery eye shadow sometimes too :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteThat looks nice, must have a look for this brand next time I pop into boots. I used By Candlelight MSF as a highlight x
ReplyDeleteI want one! I've been using By Candlelight as well, but have been after one of these for a while, just my local boots don't stock them. Although I've just bought a similar product, without the veining, from Boots No.7 range :D
ReplyDeleteI got this recently and am loving it. I think I might buy the darker one to use as a bronzer in the summer. The quality is fab for the price
ReplyDeleteI have this one & a darker one for the summer, I love them, great value too, have you tried the mineral blushers yet???
ReplyDeletewow looks like a possible dupe for msfs :)
ReplyDeleteI have the shade #2 Glam Tan, which is wonderful as a bronzer and I am waiting for my package with this one to arrive. I am really glad I read your review, it means I've made a great deal :)) XOXO
