George @ Asda - I love your Nail Polishes....

.... But your Blushers are poo!

I've never been one to turn my nose up at cheap affordable Make up. I always think everything is worthy of a try, because I have actually come across some great finds within cheaper unknown beauty brands.

I thought I'd give George @ Asdas range of make up a try, as I absolutely love their Nail Polishes and was quite interested too see what the quality of their make up was like. To be fair though, I only did pick up one item which was a Blusher, so I can't comment on the whole range.

The shade I chose was Peach. There was no tester on show unfortunately and the blusher was packaged with cellophane round it, so I couldn't even open it to check the colour. It looked nice though ha and was only £2.50 (I think).

Looks kinda pretty right? until I dipped my brush into it to use it and this happened....

It is so powdery its untrue! It went everywhere. None ended up on my brush, instead it was just flying around my room ha! When I did manage to get some on my brush and apply it, it was nothing like a peach colour and ended up looking more a dirty orange.

Its incredibly chalky and its really needed to be layered to get any colour payoff and then like I said, the actual colour was just horrible and looked powdery and chalky on my face.

I really wouldn't recommend these blushers, but I'd be interested to know if you've tried any other products from the George range and what your thoughts are.
