The perfect time saving shave - Wilkinson Sword Intuition Plus Razor.

I loath shaving. Loath it with a passion. Saying that I'm sure near enough every woman does. Its one job I could do without when taking a bath or a shower, but unless I want Gareth to feel like he's laying next to another man in bed, then it has to be done. Not that I just shave for Gareth mind ha, I just cannot stand hair. Hair on a woman is not attractive and unless I'm smooth and silky 24/7 I'm not happy. I'm too much of a wimp to even considering measures such as waxing or epilation etc I just don't handle pain well. So for me its shaving all the way.

I've been wanting a new razor for a few weeks now. I was bored with the one I was using and to be honest, I didn't find it that good. While browsing in Sainsburys a couple of days ago I spotted the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Plus. It was the line "The only 3-in-1 razor that lathers, shaves and moisturises in one easy step so there's no need for a separate shaving foam" that sold it to me. Anything to save me a bit of time and I'm on it.

"Struggle to find more than 5 minutes to spend on your beauty regime, but not prepared to compromise on looking good?

Trust Intuition Plus to help. The only 3-in-1 razor that lathers, shaves and moisturises in one easy step - there's no need for a separate shaving foam so you can now save money AND get gorgeous legs in double quick time".
- Lathers, shaves and moisturises in one easy step - just add water.

- Available in Sensitive, Hydrasoft and NEW Natural Care with Milk and Honey.

- New skin conditioning solid enriched with shea butter for improved moisture.

- Improved pivoting head to closely follow the contours of your body.

- Physical wear indicator that lets you know when to replace your blades.

When purchasing the Intuition Plus, I chose the Sensitive one. I do have very sensitive legs and armpits and most razors leave my skin red, blotchy and cause a lot of irritation. The razor itself has 3 blades and has a skin conditioning block surrounding the blades. Basically its like a little bar of soap.

Once dipped into water this produces enough lather to shave with, without using an added product such as shaving foam. I was unsure at first how this would work and I admit I did feel a bit nervous just dipping my razor into water then placing it on my leg to begin shaving. I was sure it wasn't going to prepare my legs enough to shave them, like a shaving foam does. I had no reason to worry at all, the razor literally glides over the skin. It glides so smoothly, It literally does not feel like a razor is going over the skin, so I actually thought it wasn't going to give me a close enough shave (I'm so negative ha) again I was wrong. It also moisturises the skin while shaving and really does make my skin feel silky smooth, even while still in water. The scent of the conditioning block is also gorgeous. After shaving I always moisturise, but I know that with using this product, I could easily get away with not moisturising if I was in a rush.

Overall this is the best razor I have ever tried. Not only does it save time, it also makes the whole shaving process a lot more bearable. I know I'm probably really late discovering this product and many of you Ladies may already use or have tried the Intuition Plus, but if not I highly recommend it.

  2. Ahhhh i'm another who absolutley hates shaving with a PASSION!

I have tried epilation but found it so sore and left my legs really red and totally blotchy..

I'm always dubious at trying new razors as my skin is really prone to ingrown hairs, but I shall have to give this one a try :)

  3. Ooh it sounds pretty good! I really hate shaving and have waxed up until i moved to my dad because i haven't found a good waxing lady (the last one bruised me. Twice). Haha i'm quite picky like that and no one wants to be bruised do they?

I may try this razor out though :)

  6. I love this razor too. I discovered it when it was on offer in Boots in Nottingham sometime last year, and can't imagine going back to other razors, because exactly like you I HATE shaving..it is the most mundane and annoying essential activity!!!!
