I was extremely lucky to receive a sample this morning, to have a sneaky "sniff" and share my thoughts with you lovely ladies.
Radiance is a feminine blend of red berries, delicate flower petals and soft musk. Composition notes include, tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, iris and musk. The bottle is pretty and playful, decorated with blue and pink fake gem like stones. There has been some talk of the bottle looking slightly tacky. For some, this might be this is the case but I personally love it and it looks fantastic along side all my other fragrances.
I can't sit here and say Im a huge fan of Britney's fragrances because Im not. I do have two others in my collection though. Circus, which I don't use and tend to use it as a room spray and Midnight Fantasy, which I do like but wouldn't re-purchase. Bearing this in mind, I really didn't know how I would feel about Radiance. Once I read the composition notes though, I became slightly more interested.
After having my very first sniff this morning, I can honestly say I am very pleasantly surprised, Its absolutely gorgeous! very feminine and has a sweet musky scent. Its not as sweet as some of her other fragrances and not as fruity. It smells a lot more "grown up" and sophisticated with a nice hint of sexiness to it. Its definitely a scent I could see myself wearing at night, whereas I do think her other fragrances are more suited for day time wear. The musk seems to really stand out for me, which I do like. I find the scent really alluring. I can definitely see Radiance being very popular.

ReplyDeleteAh, I love really sweet and fruity perfumes so I'll probably hate this! I don't really like the packaging here either but lets face it, none of them have been particularly classy have they!

I love Britney Spears Perfumes. Midnight fantasy is one of my favourite perfumes ever, ive repurchased it a few times :) I love this bottle, i'll sniff it but wont purchase, im out of my midnight fantasy and would rather buy that :) xx

I smelled this from a sample in a magazine the other day, and my first impression was also that it is better than her other ones! I have one (round pink bottle with gemstones, forget which one it is) and I never wear it because it's so sicky-sweet, but this one definitely seems more mature. I think the bottle is cute too :) I might get this at some point.
