Estee Lauder is not a brand Im overly familiar with. However I have been more than pleased with the few products I have tried in the past. At the moment Estee Lauder seem to be upping their game and releasing quite a few products that have caught my eye. One of them being the Pure Colour Eye shadows revamped by French make-up artist Tom Pecheux, Estee Lauder's new Creative Make-up Director.
The sleek gold packaging, complete with a mirror is the first thing that catches the eye with these shadows. They have a very sophisticated look about them and look like they would cost a lot more than £15.
There is a total of 26 shades to choose from with 4 finishes; Matte, Satin, Shimmer and Metallic.
I was extremely lucky enough to be sent quite a few shades to try and instantly fell in love with 3 shades.
Black Crystals - A sparkling slate metallic.
Tempting Mocha - A cool toned taupe shimmer.
Safari Green - A Khaki green shimmer
All three shades work so easily for me. Yesterday I wore Temping mocha all over my lid and just above crease, blended nicely. Then Safari green just in my crease and blended out for a nice smokey effect. Today I am wearing Tempting Mocha again all over my lid and just above my crease and Black crystals blended into my crease and outer v and also a little under my lower lash line. I have also wore Tempting Mocha on its own, for a gorgeous wash of colour and lined my upper lid with a brown pencil.
Believe me when I tell you these shadows are something special. Velvet smooth to touch and apply so evenly and build so easily, for a more intense look. They blend so easily and the staying power of these shadows is fantastic. After a full day of wear my shadow looks just as perfect as it did when I first applied it. These shadows cannot honestly be faulted in any way. I think they are also very reasonable priced at £15 each, for such amazing quality and stunning packaging.
I definitely plan to add more of these shadows to my collection and build myself up a little array of stunning Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eye shadows.
