Being the perfume addict that I am, I was over the moon when I received the new Vivienne Westwood fragrance Naughty Alice for review consideration. Honestly I was beaming from ear to ear nearly all day long. Whats that phrase - "Grinning like a Cheshire Cat" well that was me.
The bottle is elegant looking and chic. Simple but eye catching.
Yep that's me reflecting in the lid. It was virtually impossible to take a picture without myself being reflected.
The bottle comes with a charm bracelet bearing the crown logo of Vivienne Westwood. This can either be left on the bottle or taken off and worn.
I personally will be leaving it on the bottle, as without it the bottle just seems to look a little bare looking.
Created by the perfumer Bruno Jovanovic, Naughty Alice is described as a warm and sexy fragrance for modern women. Notes include black rose, violet, ylang-ylang and musk.
Im guessing you'll want me to get down to the nitty gritty now and tell you how it smells. In one word AMAZING. I would describe it as a subtle, chic and sophisticated scent with a feminine and provocative feel to it. Sexy and musky, without being too overpowering. It ticks all the right boxes for me, it smells expensive and leaves me with a comforted yet sexy feeling. I don't think it makes a spectacular statement when on, just nice and subtle. A scent that will leave people wanting to lean in closer.
Available to purchase at Selfridges from 24th September 2010.
