Yep.... another nude has been added to my collection.

Im sure you're all aware by now, that my preferred choice of lipstick shades are nude shades. I like to wear heavy eye make up and always wear blusher, so to balance it out, I always stick to nude shades on my lips. I first saw Rouge Prodige in nude over on Holly's Blog. It wasn't just the fact that it was a nude shade that grabbed my attention is was the fact that Holly claimed it is one Lipstick, that literally does what it says on the tin and stays put.
I can confirm that everything Holly said does indeed ring true and the claims Clarins made are spot on. The texture is a bit different from most Lipsticks Im used to and it does in fact remind me of an Inglot Slim Lipstick that I have, which is also really long lasting. Holly described it as feeling a bit "waxy" on the lips when applied and I do have to agree. This doesn't make it feel awful on the lips though, it in fact feels more like a Lip Balm than a Lipstick. It holds up to its claims of being last lasting, I hardly ever have to top up when wearing this and it has a really nice sheen to it when on the lips.
I haven't tried much Clarins make up in my time, but have recently started to explore the brand a bit more and so far I have been more than impressed!
