You may remember me posting the promo pics a while ago for Clinique’s NEW Limited-Edition Strawberry Fudge Colour Collection, due for release on Clinique counters nationwide from 12th November 2010. Well I have been extremely lucky to receive the NEW Limited Edition Strawberry Fudge Holiday Compact to give you all a sneaky peek.
The compact is absolutely gorgeous. Its sleek and sophisticated mirror covered and contains a trio of colour surge eye shadows in perfect winter shades and a stunning soft pink blush. It also contains a small eyeshadow brush and blusher brush.
All three shadows are very wearable shades; soft pink, a gorgeous purple/taupe and a darker slate colour, a perfect crease colour. They are soft and silky and blend together perfectly. Pigmentation is fantastic, as too is the staying power.
What I am most surprised about though is how stunning the blusher is and how much I have fallen in love with it. Looking at it in the pan, I did think it may not work for me and may be a bit too dark - I was so wrong. It is such a gorgeous natural looking pink, with a very slight sheen to it. It actually is near enough spot on to what colour my cheeks would naturally blush.
The full collection includes:
NEW Limited Edition Strawberry Fudge Holiday Compact RRP £25.00
Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Colour in NEW Strawberry Bliss RRP £13.50
Defining Liner for Lips in Plush Pink RRP £12.50
High Lengths Mascara in Black RRP £14.50
Anything taken your fancy?

Lovely compact hun :) I agree the blush is lush! something you could carry around if you just needed a top up.

This one is definitely going on my wishlist. I've rekindled my love of Colour Surge eyeshadows this week, and these look great. I've not tried any Clinique blush before, but you've certainly done it a 'glowing' review! xx
