My little pot of wonder - Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream

I've mentioned countless of time on my blog how I suffer with puffy eyes and dark circles. I can live with my dark circles, they can easily be covered up by a good concealer, however the puffiness I suffer with is the bane of my life.

I can have a good 8 hours sleep and I still end up waking up looking completely unrested. So much so that I've done the school run in the past and Ive had a few mums say "awww you look knackered, did you not have much sleep last night?" Erm... yeah I had a good 8 hours thanks, guess it doesn't show!

Luckily for me, Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream is my secret little weapon that helps me look well rested and wide awake. It provides my eyes with a shot of radiance which is so much needed in the mornings.

PRODUCT BENEFITS:

• Provides an immediate appearance of vibrancy, radiance and evenness with a blend of optic brighteners to diffuse darkness and illuminate under eye skin

• Fights the appearance of puffiness, swelling and signs of fatigue in the delicate eye area while improving microcirculation and increasing the flow of energy so skin remains resilient and balance is restored

• Combats dark circles by strengthening capillaries and providing both anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant benefits

• Keeps skin soft, supple and comfortable with multiple moisturisers to keep eye area skin well hydrated

The cream is a light pinkish colour. If you look closely is does look like it has a slight shimmer to it. Don't worry though this doesn't show up on the eyes. The shimmer is in fact brightening optics, silica and mica,  which superficially illuminate the eye area and help to give the illusion of radiant, bright eyes.

I find the cream applies so well and really penetrates my area eye, instead of just resting on top. Its perfect to use under make up and leaves my under eyes well moisturised and baby soft. The Ginseng and caffeine in the product work really fast to tone up my under eye area and help reduce the puffiness. Although this product has no anti again benefits, which I do look for in my eye creams, I can definitely see myself re-purchasing it to use first thing in the morning when I wake up, which is how Ive been using it. Once this has got to work and helped me look somewhat presentable and awake, I then apply another eye cream with ingredients that help prevent aging around my eyes.

I have heard this product being referred to as "A shot of espresso for the eyes" and I definitely agree.

Priced at £20.00 for 15ml.

  10. I must say that it does give the eyelids a bit of a zing, I have only got a little tube to try, and am using up something else at the moment, but if I get a moment, this is a good cream to give a bit of a wakeup moment around the eyes during the day. Thanks for this Jo, I know you and I share eyelid woes! Jan x
