Nivea is one of those old trusted brands. When I was a child I always remember the blue tin of Nivea being on our bathroom shelf, then I would go to my grandparents and my aunts house and the same tin would be on their shelf too! Needless to say when I first started using anti aging products, Nivea was one of the first brands I turned too. So its nice to go back to using a brand that I first used many moons ago!
The Anti Wrinkle Skin Refining Serum is one of the new additions to Nivea's Q10 line. The product claims to help fight lines and wrinkles from within and Instantly refine the skin texture, resulting in refined skin texture and smoother looking skin. It is a light textured gel-serum which contains Q10, a powerful coenzyme found naturally in the skin and Hyaluronic Acid.
I always use a serum before I apply my moisturiser, as a serum penetrates and adds nutrients to the deeper layers of the skin, which a moisturiser is not able to reach.
Ive been using this now for around 3 weeks and Im really pleased with it. Its incredibly light in texture and really penetrates my skin and adsorbs nice and fast ready for moisturiser. Immediately after use my skin feels silky smooth. It hard to explain the benefits my skin has by using the serum, as it is a product that works from within. One thing I have definitely noticed though, is the reduce in size of my pores and the overall look and feel of my skin. Before using this, I wasn't actually using a serum, as my last one had finished and I and was in the process of choosing which one to try next. So when I started using this one, I can definitely see how much using a serum benefits my skin.
