Caroline Herrera 212 Sexy

I absolutely adore my other Caroline Herrera perfume - 212 VIP, so Ive been eager to try another one of her fragrances for a while. 212 sexy is described as "a unique fragrance that captures everything it is to be sexy" which is a description that definitely appeals to me where perfume is concerned. I do favour my perfumes to be sexy and sultry.

It comes housed in a pretty unique bottle - a gorgeous pink metallic canister with two small bottles of perfume at each end, which then twist off to reveal the spray applicator.

The description of the fragrance is spot on. It is a nice sexy scent,  its not on par with my ultimate sexy scent which is Dior Addict, but then again Dior Addict is very strong, powerful and full on, where as 212 is sexy but sweet. The base note of Vanilla seems to come through a lot with this fragrance, although it doesn't make it sickly in any sense, it just more sweetly sexy with a bit of floral thrown in. Its a scent that I would be comfortable wearing day and night. Normally scents which I class as sexy, I tend to wear only of an evening, as they can be a little over powering for day time wear. I don't think its too powerful to wear during the day though, with it having a sweet aspect about it. When I wear this I feel girly with a nice subtle sexiness thrown in.

Tom Ford White Patchouli

I found Tom Fords Black Orchid so hard to put into words and Im finding it the same with White Patchouli. Black Orchid is so unique and hard to describe and White Patchouli is just the same. Both are so unlike any other fragrance I have in my collection, but I guess that's what I like about them, the fact that they are so different and not the typical "me scent"

I described Black Orchid as being a scent that's definitely not for everyone and White Patchouli is just the same. Not everyone is going to like this and I have no doubts that there are probably mixed reviews for this scent all over the web. Patchouli is such a strong and distinctive smell and can be very over powering for many, so its definitely a scent that needs to be tested beforehand and left on the skin for a few hours, before you decide if its for you or not.

Upon first spray it starts off heavy, much like black orchid does, but then after a while it really settles down. It still remains strong and the patchouli is really apparent but its kind of like soft floral scent, but strong. Im really not sure if that makes any sense at all, but Im no expert where fragrance is concerned and the best I can do is say it as my nose smells it. I find that I really need to be careful how much I use of this, as it can veer towards that "old lady smell". I find a few light sprays gives me a nice chic smell and makes me feel sophisticated and expensive.

Thierry Mugler Alien

Now this is sex in a bottle! That's the only way for me to describe this scent. It is seriously amazing and I cannot believe Ive not had it in my life till now. It has my name written all over it. Like I mentioned earlier, my number 1 sexy scent is Dior Addict, but this just blows that out of the window. Its super sexy, powerful, mysterious, alluring, sensual, its just everything! Its very strong and unique and works with my body chemistry really well, every single time I have wore this, Ive had compliments. It makes me feel warm and special. My other half (Gareth) cannot get enough of it, hes forever telling me how gorgeous it smells.

Again, I don't think its a scent everybody is going to love, as its so powerful, but for me its everything I look for in a perfume. I remember trying Angel a few years ago, Thierry Mugler's other famous scent and it just didn't fair well with my nose, this however is spot on for me and I simply love it!
