Today's Lips and Nails - Accessorize and Orly

Well I did say I wanted to introduce more colour into my life, so today Ive gone for some pretty bold Lips. Totally out of my comfort zone, but I really love this colour. Im not quite sure if the whole look suits me yet, hence no full FOTD, as Ive got gone near enough bare on the eyes to leave the focus on my Lips. I guess I just need to get used to the focus being on my Lips rather than on my eyes.

Today's nails are a shade that Ive really fell in love with - Orly Sapphire Silk.



Part of the Spring 2011 Precious, Sapphire Silk is a gorgeous shade of blue. I don't have too many blue polishes in my collection, well apart from Pastel Blues so this is really something different for me and I really do love it. Ive had many compliments on my nails each time I've wore this, which has been near enough constantly since my lovely friend Farrah sent it me.

  5. love them both! i have some accessorize make up but somehow didn't realise they did lipsticks!
    that orly colour is lovely. reminds me of the 'denim' one you can get with the diet coke/nails inc offer :)

  9. Very pretty colour - OH has just looked over and approved ;-) but a bit pale for me. Love the blue, can never have too many blue varnishes IMO. Jan x

  12. I too am embracing lip colour outwith my comfort zone! Its loreals 'Volcanic', sort of coral colour...much lovely! I'm also updating my nude nails for spring with a bright pink tip - although not with the lippie :)

  14. ooh i love both of these, the pink is such a lovely colour and it looks really rich.
    The nails are gorgeous too, i love blues as well but dont have many shades, i might have to get myself this. Orly last better on my nails than a lot of polishes xx

  16. @ Rougenoired - Yep... its really smooth and creamy. Comparable to a lot of my high end Lipsticks.
