Don't change something if it's not broken!
So I ordered myself another ELF Powder Brush. I've had my current one since it was very first released, so I figured that seen as ELF brushes are cheap as chips I might as well buy myself another one. It's arrived and its nothing at all like my other one! The brush head is smaller, not as dense, and just different! I wanted the exact same one!
Anyone else noticed this?

Oh goodness me. I was looking to buy a new Elf powder brush this weekend. Doesn't look so good now...looks so loose. I love how dense the old one is and it's perfect for foundation. I hope they aren't all going to be like this from now on. :/

ReplyDeleteI LOVE my flat top elf brush & like you mines from as soon as they were realised, i was actually gunna order a new one a few weeks ago but since i was going to imats i resisted, glad i did now as i dont like the look of the new one at all!
Like you said, if its broke, dont fix it!

i bought this about a month ago and thought it was different, but i'd thrown my old one out so had nothing to compare it to. I loved my first one, but havn't used the new one atall. x

ReplyDeleteWell thats disappointing. Just about the only thing I like from ELF. In fact I love mine but I won't buy any more :(
ReplyDeleteYou should send them an e-mail including the pictures pointing this out to them. They're probably aware of this change, but they should mention it somewhere on the site. Maybe if they realise customers aren't happy with it they may make a change, or at least offer an apology x

Oh god yeah you can really notice the difference! I must have the new one as I bought mine just before xmas, how annoying hun! Have you contacted them and asked about it? x

OMG what a load of shit! That brush is like my favourite, I have two but still I like to buy them for friends and stuff cos it was my fave but that new one looks crapolata! Why do they ruin everything that's good? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Sorry I will calm down!

ReplyDeleteI bought a new one a couple of months ago too and was shocked to find it significantly less dense than my original one. I assumed I'd just recieved a dud but apparently it's widespread! x

ReplyDeleteno way! this is ridiculously diff to your old one :S I ordered myself one of these too and its just as the same as the old one I have. Maybe its the piece you got hun but still! Return it to them!
ReplyDeletewoah!!! that's a huge size difference! i've found all elf brushes vary slightly in size and shape but that comparison is fairly obvious!
