Oh how I love thee!
I can create a nice easy smokey eye within minutes with this baby. It applies so easily and so smoothly and blends like a dream. I use it on its own or under shadow for a more dramatic look. When used on its own and blended out, it create a lovely sheer smokey eye which takes literally two minutes. I think this is a staple product for anyone who loves the smokey eye look. Im so glad I bought it!
I have my eye on Constructivist next.

Wow! Did Lisa Eldridge steal my idea?! I did a vid on using blackground for a one step smokey eye ages ago.
ReplyDeleteI'm kidding of course I'm sure loads of people do it. I LOVE Blackground. <3
I NEED TO SEE THIS VID!!!! X
ReplyDeleteWe had one of the MAC regional artists come in to college to do demos once and he did practically the same think. Smokey eye using Blackground, then he dabbed some 'Old Gold' glitter into the inner corners. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteOooo that sounds a nice touch, I might experiment!
ReplyDeleteI love constructivist, it goes really well with mulch if you decide to go for it!
ReplyDeletesorry Jo it seems whenever I comment on your blog I end up mentioning mulch! xx
Now I have to buy it then Sophie! I have Mulch!
ReplyDeleteI bought this based on that video too! I then did a post on my version of the look for my blog and Lisa Eldridge retweeted it to her followers! :D Such a great product - it'll last ages & you'll get so much use out of it!

Lovely! Mac has been my go to makeup for the past 5 or so years (or at least since I started wearing makeup daily and cared for my skin). I've been using the paint pot for a while nwo and I still have no complaints with it. I love Mac products!
ReplyDeleteContructivist is so lovely! Used alone it looks so nice and with All that glitters.. I think it works so well too..
ReplyDeleteHave you tried any of Benefit's Creasless cream shadows? They're amazing too
