Fab for under £5.00 - Garnier 2 in 1 Make Up Remover

If you're looking for a cheap but effective eye make up remover, then I seriously cannot recommend Garnier 2 in 1 Make Up Remover enough! I purchased it about two weeks ago after seeing A Model Recommends rave about it many times and I am not dissapointed.

The product itself is actually described as Make Up Dissolver and can not only be used on the eyes but on the face too. Its a 2in1 formula which combines a make-up removal oil (blue liquid) with the freshness of a cleansing water (clear liquid). Before use, you simply shake the bottle to combine the liquids. It removes every inch of my eye make up with complete ease and leaves no greasy residue afterwards, but leaves my whole eye area really soft and supple. Im assuming this is due to the plant extract and softening Vitamin B5 which are both active ingredients.

Although it is suitable to use on the face to remove make up, I personally wouldn't recommend using it on the face. I did try it myself, so I could see how effective it was and it does remove make up nicely, but it leaves a lot of oil on the skin and I needed to wash my face a few time afterwards to remove it all. Which is actually quite strange because it leaves no oily residue when used on my eyes. Im guessing this is due to the fact that a lot more product is needed when using on the whole face. For an eye make up remover though, it works fantastic and for under £5.00 I definitely recommend it.

Available from Boots priced at £2.99

  1. I know it's supposed to be non perfumed but this smells chemically (not a real word but you know!) to me and I haaaate it. I bought two bottles when it was on promo but as soon as I finish them, I'm going back to the Botanics eye makeup remover xx

  2. Really? I've not actually detected a smell with mine. I'll have a good sniff tonight when I use it!
