Clarins Colour Definition Autumn Collection (PART 2)

Following on from my previous post on the Clarins Fall Colour Definition Collection 2011, today I'll be showcasing the other products in the collection.

Limited Edition Colour Definition 3D Radiance Face Powder (£30.00)

"A striking compact containing a super-sheer, velvety-smooth, radiance enhancing and complexion perfecting face powder pressed and embossed with a four-toned colour pixel motif. The combination of beige and peach pixels evens and illuminates all skintones while the raised pink and lilac pixels add a fresh youthful glow. Presented in Clarins signature pale gold compact with mirror."

This is simply a gorgeous product. Not only to look at but also to use. I apply mine as an all over face powder which not only sets my foundation beautifully, but it also adds such a subtle difference and a really nice effect to my overall appearance. I also find that it seems to control my oil quite well too, which I was surprised about.

Instant Liner - (£19.50)

"An inky black liquid liner which is easy to apply with its fine, flexible, precision tapered foam applicator. Just one swift stroke defines eyes with a precise, sweeping black line which is quick drying and long lasting".

I find it quite hard to find a liquid eyeliner that Im happy with, most of the time I find that the applicator is either too soft and floppy for my liking, or too stiff and hard to use. I very rarely find and in between, but with this I have. I can literally apply this is one go, just one easy swipe and the line on my upper lid is completely perfect. The pigmentation is amazing, its definitely the blackest of the black, which lasts all day long and doesn't fade.

Fig and Grenadine Joli Rouge Lipstick - (£16.50)

Fig -

Grenadine -

"Two new shades of Clarins deeply moisturizing and colour-rich signature lipstick. The texture is soft and creamy and the colour finish vibrant and long-lasting. Plus the formula nourishes, repairs and protects with mango butter, acollagen-boosting tripeptide, pro-ceramides and vitaminE. The flavour and fragrance: blackcurrant with a touch of liquorice and vanilla".

I already own a couple of Joli Rouge Lipstick and I personally think they are one of the best Lipsticks on the market. They are so moisturising and creamy to apply. The colour payoff is fantastic and the longevity is also impressive. Grenadine is my perfect darker shade. It suits my complexion so well and Gareth seems to really love it on my lips also, which is always a bonus!  Joli Rouge Lipsticks are well worth a look at when you are next near a Clarins counter and if you are looking for a nice berry red, then you will love Grenadine.

Peach Sorbet, Rosy Coral & Creamy Toffee Rouge Prodige Lipstick - (£17.00)

Peach Sorbet -

Rosy Coral -

Creamy Toffee -

"Three new shades of Clarins ultra-comfortable long lasting lipstick. A transparent High Fidelity Pearl polymer traps and reflects colour pigments to add depth and radiance. Thepolymer is also super-adherent for long wear.Ultra-fine plant oils leave a sheer ‘topcoat’ over the lip surface which smoothes, protects and adds glossy shine. While laminariaalga eextract, ceramides and waxes nourish, soften and keep lips supple and comfortable".

If you like the look of lip gloss but hate the feel of it, then Rouge Prodige Lipsticks could be your answer. They are semi sheer lipsticks but are so glossy and so shiny. Rosy Coral is an absolute gorgeous shade and I've been wearing it a lot during the day. The wear on these is fantastic and they really do hold out for a hell of a long time before a touch up is required, but it quite unusual for a sheer lipstick.

In general I really don't think you can go wrong with Clarins products. They are pure quality right down to the packaging. The Colour Definition collection is definitely my favourite collection so far and all of the items are worth taking a closer look at when near a Clarins Counter.

Don't forget to check out my first post on the collection here, featuring the six new eye quartets.
