Beautylicious Love: Christmas Scents for Him/Her

I have a rule. If ever Im stuck what to buy someone for Christmas, I'll buy them a fragrance.Although it can be hard buying fragrances for other people, as everyone has different tastes, I do think there are a few out there that almost everyone seems to love. Scents that you just cannot go wrong with, they are either a time old classic, or a recent winner which seems to be to most peoples tastes.

Here are my recommendations for that perfect Christmas scent!

For him - Hugo Boss Bottled

A true classic and the original Hugo Boss Fragrance for men. There is nothing to not like about this fragrance. My dad likes it, my partner likes it and my brothers like it! It's just a scent you cannot go wrong with. It stays long and close on the skin and the scent can still be apparent after a good 6 hours of wear. It has a subtle hint of sexiness which is not too full on, but its enough to tempt people to lean in further and wonder what fragrance is being wore. It works perfectly for day or evening wear. Personally this is probably my favourite male scent, along with Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, although I do think that is much more of a desired taste.

For her - GHOST The Fragrance

The GHOST fashion house established by Tanya Sarne in 1984 launched its first fragrance, Ghost the Fragrance in 2000 and it has been a popular choice for women ever since. GHOST is a sweet and feminine perfume. Upon first spray it does come across as quite strong and spicy but after a while it settles into a more soft and delicate scent, with a nice sensual feel about it. Its a scent that Im positive many women have owned and re-purchased over the years and I can probably guarantee that near enough every mother has had a bottle on their dressing table at some point. Its a timeless classic.
