Prep for your party with firm smooth skin this winter season

The holiday period is the ideal time to try new anti-wrinkle treatments and non-invasive rejuvenation procedures.

This season UK based dermatology centres sk:n clinics are offering amazing deals on Botox prices and other rejuvenation treatments. But before delving into these treatments it’s imperative to know the risks, and what steps responsible dermatologists like sk:n clinics have taken to ensure the safest, most hygienic environments for superior results.

Did you know that there is no government regulation on Botox? This means literally anyone can give the treatment. Unfortunately, a number of beauty salons and nail bars who offer low Botox pricing do not have qualified medical professionals on staff.

So what other actions have been taken to protect consumers? To protect consumers from botched Botox jobs a trade group representing medically trained professionals, the IHAS, launched an initiative called ‘Treatments You Can Trust’. The initiative’s website states its reasons for pushing education and identifying trusted professionals with the following statement, “You need to take care when choosing who treats you, and where, and with what. It is your body after all - take care of it.” Consumers can only be sure the person they are going to allow to inject him/her is a suitably qualified and the premises safe when they see the IHAS Quality Assurance Mark displayed in the practitioner’s clinic or office.

Actress Sally Farmiloe-Neville was recently interviewed on ITV and she revealed details of her botched Botox job at the hands of a beautician who was not medically qualified. When administered by an expert with medical training, small doses of Botox injected into the skin will smooth lines and wrinkles by blocking nerve impulses that trigger wrinkle causing muscle contractions and reversing the tell tale signs of ageing. Farmiloe-Neville’s botched Botox job caused the area around her eye to bulge and swell.

Botox pricing should not be your only consideration when deciding on where to have the treatment done. As Botox involves the injection of a purified form of the toxin Botulinum, you should only trust a skilled professional to perform the procedure like those at our clinics.

Here at sk:n we are proud of the fact that we were the first network of clinics to be added to the IHAS’s 'Treatment You Can Trust' register. Botox is non-invasive and safe to use if administered by a qualified professional. Our experts in skin are trained to inject Botox in correctly so that the skin looks relaxed and refreshed and not stiff and expressionless. Furthermore, with over 20 years experience of effectively treating lines and wrinkles, we are the UK’s leading clinics for Botox treatments, performing more treatments than anyone else. With all this in mind, you know you are in safe hands with our expert doctors.

We also understand that in this financial climate our customers must manage each pound smartly. This is why we offer 0% financing and regularly run special Botox pricing through the year. Don’t compromise quality for cost.

  1. Hmmm, I don't know if this is the new trend or something, but recently I found out that botox in Toronto is cheaper in winter...

People could build a strategy to have Botox in the cold season and safe money...too bad we don't have to winters a year, because botox lasts only approximately 4-5 months:)
