2011 Favourites

Cleanser -

Out of all the cleansers Ive tried this past year, Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser came up trumps for me. Review here.

Eye Cream -

Elemis Pro-Intense Eye and Lip Contour Cream and Vichy Liftactiv Retinol HA Eyes. Elemis Pro-Intense Eye and Lip Contour Cream was a big hit for me and a product I have repurchased more than once. Vichy is my current night eye cream and that wont change. It address all my needs and will be permanent without change.  Reviews here and here.

Serum -

2011 saw me go back to an old favourite No.7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum. I used this for many years and rekindled my love for it towards the end of the year. Review here.

Moisturiser -

This is actually a tough one for me to choose. Ive used so many moisturisers over the past year and to be honest I still haven't found one Im 100% happy with. I guess that just means I need to keep searching! I do have my HG night cream though, which is Vichy Liftactiv Retinol HA Night. If I do decide to try another eye cream, it will have to do a damn good job to steer me away from this. Review here.

Additional Face Products -

Paula's Choice 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Liquid and Alpha H Liquid Gold. Two products I have raved about countless of times. These two will always be a part of my routine. Reviews here and here.

Foundation -

Apologies for the stock photo, I am in need of a re-purchase.

Without a doubt, my HG foundation is Lancome Teint Miracle. I do use other foundations regularly, but this is my all time favourite and the one I always turn to when I need to look perfect.

Concealer -

I found my HG concealer just towards the end of this year. Origins Quick Hide! Long Wearing Concealer. Fantastic Concealer at a fantastic price. Review here.

Mascara -

Ive been loyal to L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara for a few years now, I have tried plenty of different mascaras, but always seem to come back to this. I do have a few new ones I want to try this year though.

Blusher -

Without a doubt, my most used and most loved blusher this past year has been MAC Bite of an Apple blush which was released as part of the Venomous Villains Collection. It gives me the perfect pop of colour and I will be devastated when I hit pan on this. I hope they re-release SOON!

Lipstick -

My most worn Lipstick and most re-purchased is ELF Natural Nymph. Cheap, reliable and I just love it. Review here


Fragrance -

I have tried SO many perfumes over this past year. My favourite has to be Thierry Mulger Alien. Its everything I look for in a perfume, strong, sexy and seductive. Review here.
