Chanel Gentle Biphase Eye Make Up Remover
In my quest to try every single Eye Make Up Remover on the market, Chanel's Gentle Biphase is one that I've been wanting to put to the test for a long while. As I wear quite heavy eye make up, I'm picky when it comes to the products I use to remove it. I don't want to use any undue force or pull and tug on my eye area to remove the make up, I like a product that will dissolve my eye make up when a soaked cotton pad is held on it for two minutes, then remove it with one or two swipes. I'm a contact lens wearer too, so any rubbing on my eyes etc, can sometimes cause my contacts to dislodge. Chanel's Biphase is an absolute dream to use though
As its a biphase product, it has to be shaken before use to combine the two layers of product. The upper phase contains highly purified cleansing oils, while the lower phase contains gentle rose and cornflower waters. Once both liquids are combined together, it not only effectively removes every single trace of m y eye make up, with but also leaves my delicate eye area feeling soft and moisturised. A few other Biphase removers I've used, do leave a slight oily feel behind, although this doesn't bother me as I do wash my eyes over after removing my eye make up, It was still nice to find that Chanel's Biphase left no oily residue behind at all. I guess the only downside to the product is the price. Priced at £17.22 on The Perfumes Club Website, it does come in a lot cheaper than other stores, although It still does seem a hefty price tag to pay for an Eye Make Up Remover. As the eye area is so sensitive and delicate though, sometimes a little extra care is needed and this product fits the bill perfectly.
Chanel Taupe Gris
As a true Taupe obsessive, Chanel Taupe Gris has been on my wishlist for as long as I can remember. I very rarely buy single Eyeshadows though and do prefer the ease of a palette, as I do use more than one shade on my eyes. How I have lived without this shade for so long though, I do not know.
First application was true love. Although its slightly different from my other Taupes, with its slight plum undertones, its truly is a gorgeous shade. A must have for blue eyes. Texture, pigmentation and blendability are the best they can be and everything I expected a Chanel shadow would be (yes, this is my first). As the day goes on, it doesn't crease, it doesn't fade, it simply looks as though it did when it was first applied. Its fair to say that I now have the Chanel shadow bug and will definitely be starting a collection by purchasing a few more shades.
Available to purchase in the Chanel makeup section on The Perfume´s Club website priced at £17.86.

Love it!
